Described as "an edgy and powerfully expressive player, always on the move", Scott Peterson is a composer, improviser, instrumentalist, and sound-artist.   His instrumental palette now includes synthesizers, percussion, and technology ranging from computer software to children's toys.

At live performances and in the studio, Scott Peterson creates music and sound which is strong, distinct, intricate and beautiful.   A compulsive collaborator, Scott Peterson is a founding member of Toronto's synesthetic avante-sound ensemble cw-vortex, plays with Avi Granite in Nautilus, and is known to internet audiences as 7corners.   He has contributed soundtracks to several short films, most notably "the internet and ghosts" with Morgan Maher, and "Kairos", with Thomas Yip.   Scott Peterson's first solo recording "Airborne Cognates", (2006) has recently been released on Chanceformation.
